Meet our Instructors

  • Kerrie Miller

    Director/Instructor

I began my teaching journey as a fitness instructor at Dynamic Dimensions Fitness Center teaching MOSSA programs along with water aerobics and silver sneakers. I found joy and purpose through teaching and decided to get certified in Hatha Yoga not long after. I obtained a 250 hr certification from Aura Wellness Center under Dr. Paul Jerard and a Yoga Nidra certification from Lake Charles local Mary Vaughan. I view yoga as a spiritual experience connecting mind and body through conscious breath and movement. I enjoy sharing this experience in my classes inviting participants to come on this journey of self-exploration with me. Weaving yoga postures, philosophy, and conscious breathing into an experience that is accessible to participants of all levels and backgrounds is an absolute joy and creative outlet for me. I am honored to be able to share my practice and love for yoga with the community and humbled by how well it has been received.

"I love how yoga encourages play and gives us a space to explore different ways of moving our bodies that we don't normally get as adults in today's society. I also love the mental flexibility yoga helps cultivate that we can bring with us off the mat and use in our everyday lives." - Pierce

  • Amy Henderson

    Instructor

Amy Henderson is a business owner, children’s book illustrator, military spouse, mom, and of course – YOGI! Amy has been a yoga practitioner for 15 years, but it wasn’t until discovering Kundalini Yoga in 2018 that she knew it was her dharma to teach. Amy was taught by master spiritual teacher, Guru Singh. From him, she learned:- Yoga is a science and a technology. Though ancient, it is always evolving for a modern world. Be a scientist and experiment with what works for you!- Do your best and feel really good about that. We’re not here to prove, we’re here to IMprove. Amy brings that spirit to the mat, to her teaching, and into daily life with joy and compassion. Her goal is for you to experience your own divine radiance and create a life of abundance.

  • Alicia Johnson

    Instructor

My yoga journey began in the 90s, but life got in the way, and my practice fell by the wayside. I would pick it up here and there, but for the most part, it lay dormant. As the stress and struggles of life began to build up, I started to search for ways to deal with it. Remembered how grounded I felt after practicing yoga, and how much I enjoyed it, so began my journey once again. I started practicing at home, but I didn't want to join a studio and just practice yoga I wanted to share my love and passion for yoga with others. After getting certified I jumped right into teaching yin. My yoga journey has taken me way beyond the mat and is now becoming a lifestyle for me. Nothing brings me more joy than being able to share my love and passion for yoga with others." -Alicia
